Description

The 'Cygnus Wall' is a section of the North America Nebula (NGC 7000, Caldwell 20) – an emission nebula 1,500 light years away in the constellation of Cygnus.  The W-shaped ridge is 20 light years in length and is an area of intense star formation.  

This is a two-panel mosaic consisting of data gathered between 15 June and 14 July 2021.  Capture details as follows:

Telescope: TEC 140
Camera: QSI 690
Filters: Astrodon
Mount: 10 Micron GM2000HPS

Ha: 40 x 1200s
OIII: 42 x 1200s
SII: 41 x 1200s

A total of 41 hours exposure.
